Rules and Regulations

Students admitted to the College are expected to maintain discipline, academic seriousness and proper conduct at all times. Admission to the College implies acceptance of all rules, regulations and instructions issued by the College and the University.

General Discipline

  1. Every student shall maintain discipline, dignity, and decorum within and outside the College campus.
  2. Students must strictly adhere to all rules, regulations, notifications, and instructions issued by the College and the University from time to time.
  3. Ignorance of College rules shall not be accepted as an excuse for any violation.
  4. Any act of indiscipline, misconduct, insubordination, violence, intimidation, or disruption of academic activities shall invite strict disciplinary action.
  5. The Principal reserves the right to suspend, rusticate, or expel any student whose conduct is found prejudicial to the interests, discipline, or reputation of the College.

Attendance

  1. Students must maintain a minimum attendance percentage as prescribed by the University, UGC, NCTE, or other statutory bodies.
  2. Students failing to fulfil the attendance requirement shall not be permitted to appear in examinations.
  3. Attendance shall be monitored regularly, and no relaxation shall be granted except under exceptional circumstances approved by the Principal.
  4. Students arriving late may be denied entry into classrooms.

Academic Conduct

  1. Students must attend all lectures, tutorials, practical classes, seminars, workshops, and academic activities regularly.
  2. Submission of assignments, projects, practical records, and internal assessment work within the prescribed time is mandatory.
  3. Any form of plagiarism, cheating, impersonation, or use of unfair means in examinations shall be treated as a serious offence.
  4. Students found guilty of academic misconduct shall be liable to cancellation of examination, suspension, or expulsion as per College and University rules.

Identity Card

  1. Every student must carry a valid College Identity Card while on campus.
  2. Identity Cards shall be produced whenever demanded by any authorised College official.
  3. Entry into the College campus may be denied in the absence of a valid Identity Card.

Campus Conduct

  1. Students shall maintain proper behaviour and respect towards faculty members, staff, visitors, and fellow students.
  2. Use of abusive language, threatening behaviour, harassment, bullying, ragging, or discrimination of any kind is strictly prohibited.
  3. Ragging in any form is a punishable offence under law and may result in immediate expulsion and legal action.
  4. Damage to College property shall result in disciplinary action and recovery of the full cost of repair or replacement.

Mobile Phones and Electronic Devices

  1. Mobile phones must remain on silent mode during classes, practicals, seminars, and examinations.
  2. Use of mobile phones during teaching sessions without permission is strictly prohibited.
  3. Audio/video recording of lectures, faculty members, staff, or students without prior authorisation is prohibited.

Dress Code

  1. Students shall wear neat, decent, and dignified attire appropriate to an academic environment.
  2. Any dress considered inappropriate, indecent, or offensive shall not be permitted on campus.
  3. Students may be denied entry to classes or College premises for violation of the prescribed dress code.

Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

  • Ragging in any form.
  • Consumption, possession, or distribution of alcohol, tobacco, smoking products, narcotic drugs, or intoxicating substances.
  • Possession of weapons or hazardous materials.
  • Gambling, betting, or involvement in unlawful activities.
  • Political activities within the College campus without prior permission.
  • Unauthorised meetings, demonstrations, strikes, or protests disrupting academic functioning.
  • Use of social media to defame the College, faculty, staff, or students.

Library Rules

  1. Students shall observe complete silence inside the Library.
  2. Books must be returned on or before the due date.
  3. Loss or damage of books shall be compensated by replacement or payment as determined by the Library.
  4. Library privileges may be withdrawn for misuse of library resources.

Laboratory Rules

  1. Students must strictly follow all laboratory safety instructions.
  2. No equipment, chemicals, specimens, or materials shall be removed from laboratories without written permission.
  3. Any damage caused through negligence or misconduct shall be recovered from the concerned student.
  4. Students must obtain a No-Dues Certificate from the concerned department before appearing in final examinations.

Fees and Dues

  1. All fees and dues must be paid within the prescribed schedule.
  2. Students with outstanding dues may be denied access to examinations, results, certificates, or other academic services.
  3. Fees once paid shall not be refunded except as per applicable rules.

Visitors

  1. Visitors are not permitted to meet students during academic hours without prior approval from the Principal.
  2. Unauthorised persons found on campus may be removed and reported to the authorities.

Jurisdiction and Authority

  1. The Principal’s decision in matters relating to discipline, attendance, examinations, and administration shall be final and binding.
  2. The College Management reserves the right to modify, amend, add, or withdraw any rule at any time without prior notice.
  3. All disputes relating to the College shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Agra Courts only.

Declaration

Admission to the College implies that the student and parent/guardian have read, understood, and agreed to abide by all the Rules and Regulations of the College. Violation of any rule may result in disciplinary action, including suspension, rustication, or expulsion.
